LIMITED
WARRANTY INFORMATION
American
Range Corporation warrants to the original user for a
period of one year from the date of purchase that the
product(s) manufactured by the company are free from
defects in material and workmanship.
The
liability of the Company for breach of such warranty
is limited to repair or replacement at the Company's option,
any part which proves defective due to defects in
material or workmanship during the warranty
period. The Company shall bear the normal labor
charge for replacement or repair with a travel
distance of 50 miles from an office of an approved
service agent. Any overtime, weekend, or special rate
other than regular straight time is not covered by
this warranty. Replacement part(s) must be supplied by
American Range Corp. either direct or through its
dealer or qualified service agency with the defective
part(s) being returned to the same intact. Warranty
does not cover any freight charges for new or
defective parts.
The
Company shall have no obligation under this warranty
for any product(s) which has been misapplied,
mishandled, abused, misused, improperly installed,
modified, damaged by flood, fire, or acts of God. Furthermore,
any removal of the model or serial number will void
the warranty as well. Any porcelain is also excluded
from this warranty.
Proper
installation, air shutter adjustments calibration,
leveling, tightening of fastener or utility connection
normally associated with original installation are the
responsibility of the dealer, owner-user or installing
contractor and is not covered under this warranty.
Normal parts wear and maintenance is also not covered
by warranty. (Broiler burners, lower and upper grates,
and radiant are warranted for 90 days.)
This
warranty is in lieu of any other agreement, expressed
or implied, and constitutes the only warranty of the
Company with respect to the product. American Range
Corp. shall not be liable for the loss of use, revenue
or profit, or for substitute use or performance, or
for incident, or special damage, or for other loss or
cost of similar type.
