What is a Donut Fryer?
Donut Fryers come in a variety of styles. The floor model is an open kettle type fryer that can hold 18X26, 24X24 or 24X34 size frying screens. Open Kettle Countertop models are quite a bit smaller and usually only hold about a 15X15 fry screen. Donut Robots are fully automatic fryers that deposit donuts into a conveyor belt type fryer that moves the donuts through the fryer, turning them once and then depositing them onto a tray at the end of the cycle. Bakery Equipment.com has also put together complete donut production systems that provide all the equipment needed for a full donut operation. Most models are available in both electric or gas.
