What is a Roll Bar Mixer?

 

A roll bar mixer (also sometimes called a roller bar mixer) is a horizontal mixer that is used to roll bough. Roll bar mixers generally have three sets of bars that rotate to roll the dough, and they tilt to dump the dough. Some roll bar mixers come with chilled roll bars and stainless steel jackets to reduce the heat generated from the friction of the dough moving against the chamber. These mixers can be used for several types of dough, including bread, rolls, and pizza.
