What is an Extruder?
There are different types of extruders but in general most of these
machines are designed to extrude or push out a consistent flow of dough,
batter or other product batches that can then be manipulated a number of
ways by add-ons or subsequent processes. Some extruders work like
pumps while other use large screws, like augers, to for the product through
the discharge end.
